Pew’s research indicates that Musk faces a 12-point deficit, with 54% of respondents expressing a negative opinion of the Department of Government Efficiency head, in contrast to 42% with a favorable standpoint. Notably, 36% conveyed a highly unfavorable view of Musk, while 11% held a very favorable perspective.

When dissected along party lines, Musk garnered favor among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, with a 73% favorability rate. Conversely, Quinnipiac polled 1,039 self-identified registered voters from Feb. 13 to Feb. 17, citing a margin of error of plus or minus 3%.
