GREENBELT, Maryland — A federal judge has initiated a two-week inquiry into the Trump administration’s handling of a case involving the wrongful deportation of a man to El Salvador’s notorious prison.
During a court hearing on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis expressed frustration, stating, “To date, the record indicates a lack of action. Nothing has been done.”
The inquiry aims to uncover the reasons behind the administration’s refusal to seek the man’s return and delve into the implications of this decision on justice and human rights.
This investigation comes at a crucial time when accountability and transparency in immigration policies are under intense scrutiny.
